FEATURED PROJECTS

Goats | City of McKinney
Bonnie Wenk Park The City of McKinney engaged us to enhance safety along the park's trail systems by improving sightlines for both bicyclists and pedestrians. This initiative allows users to see oncoming traffic around bends, significantly contributing to trail safety. Our efforts were showcased during Trails Appreciation Day on June 6, 2025. We also addressed flood management by removing dense vegetation, thereby facilitating better water flow through the creek systems. This

Goats | City of Arlington
We were enlisted by the City of Arlington's Water Utilities Department to clear the overgrown banks of Lake Arlington Dam. The dense vegetation in the riparian area had impeded the ability to conduct essential dam inspections. By removing this thick growth, the city could then manually address larger obstructions, such as trees. This 13-acre project took 11 days to complete, with the herd size expanding from 250 to 460 goats to expedite the process effectively.

Goats | Kings Crossing
Kings Crossing - The Warner Group The Warner Group hired us to clear the site of a planned natural space behind a developing subdivision. Our task involved clearing 20 acres in just ten days using a herd of 460 goats. During the clearing process, we identified an invasive plant species known as Snow on the Mountain in the area designated for a playground. Fortunately, by addressing this issue beforehand, the developer ensured that the invasive plants would not interfere with

Goats | Spine Trail
Spine Trail - The Loop Dallas The Loop Dallas, a nonprofit organization, contracted us to revitalize Spine Trail, a heavily littered and overgrown area in Dallas. Our goats helped remove invasive plants like privet while clearing paths around the litter, enabling the removal of debris. This initiative also contributed to flood mitigation in the impacted creek systems and improved visibility along the trail. Over the course of ten days, we cleared 15.5 acres with a herd of 460

Goats | AT&T Trinity Forest Trail
Trinity Forest Trail The City of Dallas Water Utilities Department brought us on board to clear a flood-prone area along the AT&T Trail in the Trinity Forest. Our team worked both sides of a 3.5-mile stretch of trail, enhancing visibility and aiding flood mitigation efforts. Over 16 days, we effectively cleared 54 acres with a herd of 650+ goats.

Goats | DWU
Bachman Park - City of Dallas Parks and Recreation For this project, we were hired by the City of Dallas Parks and Recreation Department to tackle a park heavily taken over by the invasive species known as privet. Over a span of twelve days, our herd of 200 goats cleared 16 acres, restoring the park's natural beauty and ecological balance.

Goodland | Phase 6
A key feature of Goodland is its connection to nature and the existing ecosystem. Our goal was to enhance a space that utilizes ponds between two phases of homes connecting the land and giving residents a unique trail from one area to the other. The carefully crafted design weaves a boardwalk with a pier over a portion of pond to a walking path providing access to a more manicured space with natural stone seating and a lawn. An additional pier offers homeowners a second viewi

Goodland Parkway
Goodland Parkway is the new front door to Goodland, offering direct access to the community from highway 287 and the 360 toll road. Winding through the countryside Goodland Parkway’s elevation will provide scenic views of the landscape and development as you drive towards the future downtown civic and retail areas as well as existing homes and recreational spaces. A key feature of the road and perhaps one of our favorite design elements is the linear park that will span nearl

Goodland | Ponds
The amenity ponds at Goodland are a community treasure. Here at Open Space, we had the privilege of facilitating the transformation from detention areas to thoughtfully crafted catch and release fishing ponds. Work began reimagining the two large amenity ponds with Provident Realty Advisors and Garrison Jones in early 2025, with the goal of establishing these areas as prime fishing locations within the community. After engaging a set of exceptional contractors, the team set o

Hillstead Amenity Center
Great places begin with a solid vision, a dedicated design team and a client willing to bring an idea to life. We are incredibly grateful that Provident Realty Advisor’s Master Planned Community team engaged our efforts in the very beginning and believed that The Grove would transform this new community. Facilitating meetings where ideas were sketched on trace paper to coordinating the final touches being installed, this amenity center embodied a project’s journey through all
