The Loop Dallas
We were proud to be a part of this project featuring the extra-cute cleanup crew that spent October opening up sight lines and making the trails at Valley View Park safer and more inviting. More than 450 goats helped clear invasive privet and overgrown vegetation that took off after an especially wet season.

Two Step Groundbreaking

Painted Tree | McKinney, TX
Open Space TX proudly teamed with Tom Woliver, co-president and founder of Oxland Group, the developer, to deliver the first phase of lots at Painted Tree. “This may be the largest phase one in DFW in history,” Woliver said in an interview with the Dallas Business Journal. “It’s a pretty aggressive phase one.”

Goats Get Down to Business
Dallas Water Utilities recently embarked on a pilot program with Open Space TX to bring in a herd of 400 goats to clear heavy underbrush in two area creeks. This environmentally friendly option improved storm water flow and reduced fire danger without the use of chemicals or large crews of people.

Kaboom
The national nonprofit organization, Kaboom, enlisted Open Space TX for a student-designed, community built playspace for the children of W.J. Turner Elementary to thrive. Open Space TX served as the on-site Certified Playground Safety Inspector (CPSI) supervising all aspects of the playground installation.
